Policies

• We are proud to provide each of our guests with personalized attention. In order to do this, we adhere to a strict daily schedule. Off-hour arrivals or departures may be pre-arranged for a fee of $50.
• We prefer to board all pets separately. If you choose to board your pets together, you will be asked to sign a release form.
• If you plan on having someone else drop off your pet, you must speak with us in advance about pre-registration. If prior arrangements have not been made, your pet will be not be allowed to check in.
• If you plan on having someone else pick up your pet, you must name that person at check in. A photo ID will be required.
• We require a driver's license and credit card number from all owners for emergency purposes. If your pet needs veterinary care, you will be responsible for the charges.

Vaccination Requirements

In order to hold a reservation, we must have written proof of current vaccinations from your vet at least 10 days in advance. Any pets that have received vaccinations within 10 days of boarding will not be admitted to the hotel. We do not accept handwritten documents, but you may have your vet call us for verification.

Dog requirements:
Rabies, DHPP, and Bordatella*

Cat requirements:
Rabies and FVRCPP
Feline Leukemia is required for outdoor cats.

* For optimal protection, we highly recommend the intranasal Bordatella vaccine given every 6 months.

All pets must be negative for internal and external parasites (worms, fleas, ticks, etc.). Your pet will be examined at check in, and you will be charged for any vet visits or treatments required.

The health and safety of your pet is YOUR responsibility. Lucky Paws has made every effort to ensure the cleanliness of our facility, including a 24 hour circulation system that cleans the air. We also have strict policies regarding vaccinations and waiting periods. However, you need to have thorough discussions with your vet about what is best for your pet's individual needs. Your pet will be exposed to a large number of animals at Lucky Paws, and all dogs in the hotel will be outside (in a rural setting) for portions of their days.
