After your dog has completed the Beginner and Advanced scent classes, they will be ready for the more challenging competition scent class. Here, we are working on various scents and real life obstacles. This class will help prepare for competitions.
Our Scent Classes are a recreational version of what you see police and military dogs do! This new sport is based on positive reward techniques and it is wonderful mental stimulation for your dog. Dogs that progress in their abilities can move on to higher level classes to prepare for trials, testing, and titling.
This class will run on Thursdays for 6 weeks, March 5 through April 9.
- Completion of Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced scent classes with us, or similar elsewhere required.
- Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations required as well as a negative fecal including Giardia testing
