SMALL DOG DAYCARE:
dedicated group for dogs 30 pounds and under
|Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday||8:00AM – 5:00PM|
Traditionally we like to tell all of our pet parents that 6 months is our preferred time for spay and neuter for a group play setting. However, we do know that an increasing number of breeders and vets are asking owners to wait until at least one year. We also recognize that larger breed dogs mature more slowly than smaller breed dogs.
With this in mind, while we still prefer all of our dogs being spayed or neutered by the age of 6 months, we will extend the spay/neuter policy for Daycare pups up to 12 months old on a case by case basis effective November 1, 2023. Any dog exhibiting sexual behaviors (coming into heat, excessive mounting of other dogs, marking, etc.) will be excused from daycare until they have their alteration surgery.
This case by case exceptionary policy does not apply to dogs that are boarding, grooming, or training.
Any dogs that have received any vaccinations within 3 days of their scheduled daycare visit will not be admitted.
Please give us a call for any questions about our vaccine and fecal testing requirements.
