Rawhide bones and other edible chews (such as cooked bones) can pose a choking and blockage risk in dogs, as well as digestive irritation. If your dog swallows large pieces of rawhide or splintered bone, the pieces or shards can get stuck in the esophagus or other parts of the digestive tract. For this reason, Lucky Paws staff will not give rawhides and other edible chews to our 4 legged clients while they are in our care. We strongly encourage antlers or Kongs as an alternative to this type of edible chew. Your pet’s health is important to us! *BULLY STICKS ARE ACCEPTABLE*

Due to the increase in food allergies and stomach sensitivities, Lucky Paws will no longer be offering Iams food as an option while boarding. If Lucky Paws needs to go to the store to purchase food for your pet, there will be a fee (shopping fee and purchase price of food). We encourage you to provide your own food for your dog for the duration of their stay.
