This class helps you determine if your dog has the innate potential for therapy work by exploring essential characteristics and teaching foundational skills like sit, stay, and leash manners. It’s not an evaluation or training course but rather an opportunity to recognize if your dog’s temperament aligns with the role and to learn the next steps in your journey.
In this “drop in” class you will learn fun and effective ways to help your dog stop jumping! We’ll begin to teach you and your dog how to make the floor more exciting than jumping up on people or things.
Is your dog’s excitement just too much for polite company? This course emphasizes essential impulse control skills, helping your dog learn to pause and think before rushing in to say hello.
We will replace jumping and lunging with desired greeting manners, boosting your dog’s confidence in social situations.
You will gain the communication tools needed to calmly and consistently guide your dog toward a better social life.
