Basic Manners Level 2 is a 6 week course to expand on foundation skills taught in Basic Manners Level 1. This series will include distance and distractions, as well as off-leash exercises. This series will help prepare teams
who are interested in CGC/TDI classes.
This class will run on Mondays for 6 weeks, April 14 through May 19.
- Completion of our Basic Manners Level 1 class or similar class elsewhere. Your dog needs a solid understanding and base of the basics including Sit, Lay/Down, Stay, Place, and Leave it to register for this class.
- Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations required as well as a negative fecal including Giardia testing

How much happiness does your dog bring to you? Have you ever thought about sharing that joy with hospitals, nursing homes, and the community? All you have to do is pass a simple training test and your dog can bring his wagging tail to many in need of a smile! This prep class will help you and your dog master each step of the test.
This class will run on Sundays for 6 weeks, April 27 through June 8. There will be no class the week of May 25.
$140 is the 6 week prep class fee. Additional fees will apply for the CGC test. *Exam also requires guardians to submit forms independently to the respective organization. Guardians will be responsible to pay the fees to submit these forms.
- Completion of a Manners class with us, or similar class elsewhere is required.
- Testing will be offered at the end of the 6 weeks.

For dogs ages 6 months and up, this is a 6 week class. Dogs will learn sit, down, stay, come when called, leave it, leash walking, place and more – all with distractions added to help good behaviors stick!
This class will run on Sundays for 6 weeks, April 27 through June 8. No class the week of May 25.

S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsible owner!
This class is designed to get owners and puppies off to a great start and build the foundations for a lasting relationship. In class, we will address common puppy problems like potty training and mouthing. Puppies will have opportunities to participate in confidence building socialization activities and will engage in appropriate puppy play. Owners will learn techniques to elicit engagement and attention from their puppies that will help them focus and learn. Basic manners and desired behaviors will be taught utilizing positive reinforcement techniques and games. Puppies will learn the foundations for sit, down, relaxing on a mat, come, stay, loose leash walking, and more.
At the end of the 6-week class puppies will participate in an exam and successful teams will graduate from the AKC STAR Puppy Program.
This class will run on Tuesdays for 6 weeks, May 6 through June 3.
- Puppy age range: 24 weeks or younger at the start of class
- 1st round of vaccinations required as well as a negative fecal including Giardia testing
